A new way to make spicy foods safer is coming: A spice paste

“If you’re on the hunt for a spicy-tasting spice, this recipe is the one to try.

It is made from dried spices, and the combination of herbs, spices, water, and salt makes it very tasty,” says Roberta Schmitt, owner of Schmitt’s Spice House, which specializes in spicy foods.

The spice paste, which is also available at other specialty shops, can be made with ground black pepper, coriander seeds, cinnamon, or a combination of the two.

Schmitt says it’s not as spicy as she would like, but it will give you an alternative to regular spices like garlic and onion.

“It’s a nice spice, but not one I would recommend,” she says.

Schmit also recommends that you use a small amount of salt and pepper on top of the spices before cooking.

“The salt and seasoning really add a flavor to the dish,” she explains.
