Prairie Woods ELC is a regional center for environmental education, team-building and outdoor recreation. Customized learning adventures for all ages and beautiful rental facilities for groups of 6 to 300. 7 miles of cross-country skiing and hiking trails, a challenge course, wetland walkway, indoor climbing wall, sporting clays, pioneer cabin, archery and more. There is something for everyone at this popular west-central Minnesota State Park. Hike to Mount Tom, and see a patchwork of forest, farmland, prairie knolls, and lakes. Summer visitors enjoy swimming, boating, picnicking, and fishing on Lake Andrew. The park offers campgrounds, a modern group center, horseback camps, hiking/snowshoe trails, canoe portage route, picnic area, and interpretive programs year-around.
